Audiosurf is a great music/rhythm game; and if you’re into those (which I assume you are if you read our blog), I strongly encourage you to check it out.
In watching that YouTube playthrough of “Transition”, it struck me just how rad video games can be. Here we are, an independent video game developer makin’ BIT.TRIP games. The folks over there at Audiosurf, another independent game company, are makin’ games as well. And then SmaMan comes along and decides that taking the chocolate of BIT.TRIP and the peanut butter of Audiosurf would make a mighty tasty piece. And you know, I’m inclined to agree.

That was awesome. Wonder if he’ll do the rest of the music from beat in this.
Though I must admit, it was a little odd to hear the music without any of the sounds the beats make in the game.

It was honestly the first thought that came to my head when you released the soundtrack on iTunes. Didn’t know it would work THIS well!
And yes, I’m planning on doing the others… this week’s just been REALLY busy for me. I’ve gotten a few requests for Growth so I’m trying to polish up a really nice score on that. (It’s gets about as hard as the actual Growth level sometimes!)
