Special Guest Star for BIT.TRIP CORE!

Hey gamers and music lovers and all of those people who love them! We have an announcement to make!

As you may know, BIT.TRIP BEAT was “bookended” in the Main Menu and Credits by two songs from Bit Shifter, one of our favorite chiptune artists. For BIT.TRIP CORE, we figured why not continue that tradition and ask another one of our faves to make a special guest appearance. But who to ask…

Bubblyfish

I am very pleased to announce that in our sequel you’ll be treated to the rockin’ tunes of Bubblyfish as you begin and end your game!

Jump over to her website for more information on her works.  Links for purchasing her music can be found on her discography page.

Now for our next game, BIT.TRIP ?????…    Any suggestions?

Continue rocking on. Over and out.

Well my favourite chiptune artist has always been she :)

    Random would be good too.

  3. Noah says:

I’m new to chiptune, but I’ve been getting into Alex Mauer’s stuff. I think he’d be a good fit for a BIT.TRIP game. :)

    Bit.Trip Custer’s Revenge

Hmm, next BIT.TRIP…. this is something to think about people, I want to lose sleep and more popularity(even though I have none to start with) for a reason. BIT.TRIP…. BIT… . TRIP…. send…. hitting… clash… CLASH! BIT.TRIP CLASH! You fire objects that clashes with other beats to score and create rhythmic patterns, that’s all I can pull off the top of my head.

  10. Zep says:

Bit.Trip Invaders: musical retro arcade shooting in space!
    Bit.Trip Machine: musical construction!
    Bit.Trip Assimilation: musical Katamari Damacy!
Bit.Trip Studio: musical music creation studio!
Bit.Trip Jukebox: musical music featuring music from the five Bit.Trip games! Only on iTunes.

    And for music, Henry Homesweet?

  11. GenisSage says:

    Why not Bit.Trip: Swarm?

  12. Ben says:

I agree with the Bit.Trip Jukebox idea as an audio release once all five games are out. I’d buy the shit out of that!!

  13. antfactor says:

Bubblyfish is awesome - I have always loved her work! I think she is one of the most talented artists in this genre… and she’s great fun to hang with. New York represent!! ;)

  14. I’ve got the name you nerds want:

    BIT.TRIP AXIS!

    Y’know, I’ve beaten BIT.TRIP BEAT about 6 times now!

  15. Dehkordi says:

How ’bout a pseudo-Tetris where each piece is in its own state of matter? As in solid, liquid, and gas… but pieces won’t always fall one at a time. Huh? Oh yeah… somekinda name… you done BEAT and CORE… B and C respectively… How ’bout a D? Like BIT.TRIP DRIFT, as in the inconsistency of substance

  16. Ferret75 says:

PLEASE make some kind of Bit. Trip RPG.

Or a racing Bit. Trip game would be neat.
Hitting the correct beats would make you go faster, while missing them would make you slower and back to normal speed. When in the nether meter, your car is stuck unless you get back to the hyper meter.

I don’t know how though, but I’d REALLY LOVE to see some kind of RPG Bit. Trip. XD
