You, our lucky readers, have stumbled upon the new website of the most awesome video game company on Earth! Why are we the most awesome, you ask? Because everything we do is fun, everyone we work with is handsome, and we’re rolling in cash. We are also wishful thinkers. Especially when it comes to rolling. Particularly in cash. In fact, we are merely starting up and as yet have little funds. What we lack monetarily, however, we make up for in passion and good humor (not the ice cream, just the standard kind). And how could we not be pleased as punch when these are our offices:

There’s so much I want to tell everyone, but I’m new to this web logging thing and wouldn’t want to overstimulate the masses. Nor would I like to understimulate them, I suppose. So, I’ll drop a couple quick tidbits and move on. Gory details I shall save for future posts.

My name is Alex Neuse, and I’m the creative powerhouse behind Gaijin Games. I am flanked by some of the most talented individuals I’ve met over the course of my tenure in the game industry and I’m sure that in time they will introduce themselves on this blog (and on the Team Bios page) as well.

I’m the kind of gamer who likes to be moved by my “interactive experiences”, and as of late I’ve felt less and less moved by the mass-market games I’ve laid my hands on. Enter Gaijin Games. We are a company that views video games as an art form and we’re going to try to convince you, him, her, and that funny-lookin’ dude in the back that we’re right. It’s got some buzzwords in there, a mention of quality, and the ever-necessary allusion that we can do something no one in the history of EVER has done before us–make something “unique”. All kidding aside, we believe in this Mission Statement and it will be what drives us to make awesome products for you, the unclean masses, to devour. So, get your bibs on, because if all goes well, we’ll have a game out by Spring of next year.
