Why Wait for PAX? Check out lilt line NOW!

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Gaijin Games is pleased to announce our very first self-published game!

lilt line has been a labor of love for us over here at Gaijin Games.  The original version was created by differentcloth for the iPhone, and the moment I saw it, I fell in love with the game.  Check out the original lilt line here, and the WiiWare version at the official lilt line Wii site.

I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I’m a huge fan of rhythm/music gameplay, and when I contacted the fine folks behind the original, we realized just how awesome it would be to work on something together.  In short, we hit it off.

With the unique gameplay stylings of differentcloth and the amazing dubstep soundtrack by 16bit, it’s no wonder that the original version won the 2010 IGF Mobile Audio Achievement Award.

If you’re fans of the BIT.TRIP series, Gaijin Games, dubstep, or seeing what music might actually look like, give the Wii version of lilt line a whirl when it comes out later this Fall. In the meantime, download the intoxicating original for a little taste of what’s to come.

Massive Amounts of Fanart

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

Oh yeah!

I’ve FINALLY updated the fanart page to accommodate the 150+ graffiti art submissions for BIT.TRIP RUNNER.  Go check it out!

I apologize if I omitted anyone's submission. It was tough to keep track of it all! :)

I apologize if I omitted anyone's submission. It was tough to keep track of it all! :)

Also, those of you who have sent us screenshots of your perfect achievements in BIT.TRIP RUNNER, don’t fret, we’re going to get them up on the perfects page soon.

Gary Morin's ultimate TRIUMPH!

Gary Morin's ultimate TRIUMPH!

We will only be posting proofs of entirely perfected levels.  Since there are so many challenges, posting images of each and every one of those would just get downright silly.

And if there’s one thing we DO NOT tolerate at Gaijin Games, it’s silliness.

Enjoy the graffiti images and keep the fanart coming!  Also, if you enjoy being a deviant, check out the collection of BIT.TRIP art over at deviantart.com.
